AT LAST!
The day we have been looking forward to for over a year is nearly here.
On 29th May 2021, cadets from 2344 (Longbenton) Air Cadet Squadron will be the first cadets to deploy on expeditions supported by The Ulysses Trust since March 2020. The cadets have already been preparing as they ventured outside to enjoy a day walk in Co Durham earlier this week.
Ex: Artemis MMXXI 2021 will see a total of 34 cadets venturing into the hills over 5 weekends this summer in the Cleveland Hills and The Lake District to complete the expedition section of their The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
The cadets have been working hard over the previous months to complete other elements of the award and the icing on the cake will be the expeditions.
We are delighted to see a return to outdoor activity supported by the Trust. And special thanks to Royal Air Force Charitable Trust who have generously supported this expedition.
