Andy is an active early-stage investor and sits on the Board of six companies. In addition to his Ulysses Trust Trusteeship Andy is a Trustee of the Bridgewater Sinfonia. Previously he spent 16 years with Diageo, the spirits and beer company, ending up as global sales director.
Andy has previously organised and participated in climbing expeditions to the European Alps, the Caucasus, Greenland’s Schweizerland Alps, New Zealand and the Andes. He is a passionate ski tourer.
Andy’s three children have all benefitted from their school’s Combined Cadet Force programme. As it was Andy’s encouragement which led to this participation, and given that the experience was so beneficial, Andy reckons that the CCF has made him a better Dad!
