Fundraising Plans Announced

The Ulysses Trust was delighted to announce its fundraising plans for the coming years at its annual team briefing event at HMS President on Friday 7 July 2023.

The charity’s Trustees have agreed to continue to use Morgen Thomas Ltd for The Ulysses Trust’s fundraising activities.

The Trust Chair, AVM Nick Kurth, said, “I am delighted that the charity has extended its contract with fundraising consultant, Morgen Thomas Ltd. The company provided significant value added to our recent ‘New Horizons’ campaign, resulting in over £2M raised in donations and pledges, and introducing a number of new individuals to the Trust’s work. This will ensure our continuing support to UK’s young people, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds.”

Morgen Thomas Ltd provides fundraising and management consultancy services to the charity sector. Robert Astick, Director, said: “I was a Junior Leader and went on to have a long career in the Royal Artillery. I know from my own experience the development and personal growth opportunities afforded by expeditions. The Ulysses Trust does important work in ensuring that these opportunities are available to all and especially to those young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

“Furthermore it has a strong commitment to accountability to its partners and supporters. Together these factors create an outstanding environment for fundraising. One where people and organisations can support young people and their development, knowing that their social investment is having the greatest impact possible. Morgen Thomas Ltd are honoured to be associated with and working for The Ulysses Trust.”
