Many thanks to everyone who attended our Odyssey Circle meeting at Google HQ in London yesterday evening. It was a wonderful night!
The Odyssey Circle is a society of like-minded people who support the Reserve and Cadet Forces through expeditions and the life changing opportunities they represent. The purpose of the event was to thank our supporters and enable them to meet some of the cadets and reservists supported by the Trust to undertake these expeditions.
We heard some excellent presentations from cadets and adult volunteers from:
+ JFS CCF
+ Lisnagarvey High School CCF
+ London District North East Sector Army Cadets
And the Minister for Veterans and People, Louise Sandher-Jones MP.
Guests had the opportunity to chat with cadets and reservists who had recently returned from expeditions supported by the Trust including cadets from 282 (East Ham) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets & 1147 Barking Squadron RAFAC. It was wonderful to hear the cadets share their stories.
The Vice President of the Odyssey Circle, Lady Janie Grosvenor awarded plaques to members of the Odyssey Circle as a special thank you for their support including one of our new supporters Forces Support Charity.
