Holmavasshytta to Haukeliseter Fjellstue. 20km, 5hrs. Wow… what a day… left two couples holed up at Holmavasshytta after the bad weather with a late start because I didn’t think the weather would be good enough to go… but the wind dropped through the night, and visibility actually improved! The strong winds had compacted the snow and made for fast travel across the lakes with the wind at my back! Arrived at a warm Norwegian welcome at Haukeliseter fjellstue and my first resupply parcel. Now turning my kit around and catching up with messages. Thank you for all the warm messages of support! Wonderful reading them… a real boost to spirits.
