Chairman’s Bike Rides Reach £10K Total

We are delighted to announce that our Chairman of Trustees, Air Vice-Marshal N J E Kurth has now raised £10,000 for The Ulysses Trust as a consequence of completing RideLondon 100 in 2018, 2019 and 2022.

Nick said, “I am very grateful to all my sponsors and particular thanks go to several Vice Patrons who stepped in to top-up the sum to my target of £10,000.  Indeed, there was a (small) queue to assist!  For information, I raised £6,550 in 2018, £1,400 in 2019 and £2,050 in 2022.  As mentioned in despatches, I covered the overhead costs personally so that all sponsorship secured has been delivered to the Trust.

“The sum raised is enough to pay for a major overseas expedition or several UK expeditions – something not insignificant in these straightened times, with the potential for disadvantaged young people to miss out on these important life changing opportunities. As I alluded to previously, 2022 was the last time I will be participating in RideLondon 100 – figuring that my finite number of lives has been used up!  Thank you following me on this journey and, crucially, supporting my endeavours.”

Thank you to everyone who has supported Nick (and The Trust) so far. Your generosity is very much appreciated!
