Army & Navy Club Dinner Raises £500

On Thursday 1st December 2022 the Transformation Leaders network celebrated its ‘end year’ event in style at the prestigious Army and Navy Club in St James Square, London and raised a fantastic £500 for The Ulysses Trust.

David Pinchard MD of www.transformation-leaders.com organised a book talk at the club featuring two distinguished retired veterans of the 1982 Falklands campaign to an audience consisting of members of the Transformation Leaders network and members of the Army and Navy Club. The speakers were Rear Admiral Chris Parry CBE and Ulysses Trust Vice Chairman Philip Neame.

Both speakers have written books about their time in the South Atlantic. Chris’s book has recently been published to mark the anniversary of the war. ‘Down South’ is his extraordinary, day by day, war diary aboard HMS Antrim and the hair raising exploits of the ship’s remarkable Wessex helicopter. Our Vice Chairman, Philip Neame MBE has recently had his book, Penal Company, published. Phil’s memoir recounts his experiences up to and including the battles at Goose Green and Wireless Ridge.

We are extremely grateful to Robin Bidgood (pictured left), CEO of the Army and Navy Club for hosting this event and David Pinchard (pictured right) who organised the event and highlighted The Ulysses Trust as the chosen charity for the evening.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event as a donation was made to the Trust from every ticket sold.

A special thank you to David Pinchard for his continued enthusiasm and dedication in helping us to promote the Trust to members of the Army and Navy Club and the Transformation Leaders network as well as raising funds for our charity.
