Here’s some of the feedback we received after the talk:

“I learnt a valuable lesson: ‘Confidence and experience are born out of adventure’ Risk, challenge and adventure teaches us life skills such as resourcefulness, self awareness and teamwork skills. It taught me about resilience and bravery. Woods taught me that even if we are unable to go to the Nile, or to Mount Everest, to practise stepping out of our comfort zone in our day to day lives for example you can make a lifelong friend out of a stranger.”

“I really enjoyed listening to Levison Wood’s speech about being an explorer. It really taught me the value of exploration. And experiencing new things”

“Levison Wood advised us to network with people. This shows the power of networking and where it can get you due to the vast variety and diversity of the world around us. Levison alo inspired usc to be ambitious and keep following your dreams and we must strive to reach those outcomes.”

“Levison is a history graduate who circumnavigated the whole of Central America and part of the River Nile on foot. Other accolades include walking the length of the Himalayan Mountain range from Afghanistan to Bhutan and a 500 mile expedition across the Arabian Peninsula. It taught us to be adventurous and get out of our comfort zone.”
