Delta Company Parachuting Expedition 2025

🎯 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🪂

From 25th–27th July, 8 brave Cadets from Delta Company (with support from C and B Company) headed to Netheravon Airfield in Wiltshire for our now annual, static line solo parachute jump.

Arriving late Friday night under a dark, humid sky, we bunked down in the Bunk House ready for a full-on weekend. Saturday kicked off early at 06:30 hours, straight into a tough day of training—learning how to launch ourselves safely out of a perfectly good plane!

✅ Exits
✅ Stable flight
✅ PLFs (parachute landing falls)
✅ Emergency drills

Despite the hard graft, the wind held us back—no jumps on Saturday.

But Sunday? Different story.

Another early rise. Final confirmation drills. Kit checked. Nerves high. Smiles creeping in. And then—up we went. One by one, cadets jumped, and as Lt Cooke and CSM Falconer looked to the skies, every single canopy opened beautifully. 🌤️

These Cadets didn’t just jump—they soared.

A massive thank you to the incredible team at the Army Parachute Association and to our generous supporters at The Ulysses Trust, who made this unforgettable weekend possible.
