Charles’ speech included a description of Ex: Scottish Heights 2025. – the expedition he participated in resulting in him completing his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The audience of over 100 attendees was bowled over by what was achieved by Charles and his colleagues. Indeed, Charles received universal praise from the audience.

Air Vice-Marshal Nick said,

‘Charles spoke confidently and highlighted the value of the Cadet experience, benefitting individuals at a key stage of their development’. The audience included a former Chief of the Air Staff, who was extremely positive about the work of the Trust, and also Flight Lieutenant Michael Shirley, the Commanding Officer of 282 (East Ham) Squadron.
