A huge thank you to City Veterans CIC for hosting a wonderful Carol Service at the Guards’ Chapel at Wellington Barracks in Westminster on 11 December 2025. It was a warm, uplifting event, and we’re truly grateful to have been part of it.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the City Veterans and the cadets who attended and supported the evening. And to everyone who joined us, thank you for making the night so special.
The evening began in the Chapel with the choir and congregation singing ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ followed by a number of readings and more carols. After the service, guests were hosted in the Officer’s mess for a convivial evening of music, refreshments, speeches and conversation – it was a wonderful event bringing together the Ulysses Trust, City Veterans, cadets and guests at this festive time of year.
We also look forward to strengthening our partnership with City Veterans CIC, a collaboration that will enable many more cadets to take part in life-changing expeditions. These experiences help build confidence, leadership, resilience, and a sense of achievement that stays with them for life.
