On Thursday 30th April 2026, City Veterans CIC hosted a wonderful fundraising dinner at Lancaster House in support of the Ulysses Trust and our ongoing work enabling young people to take part in challenging expeditions that build leadership, resilience, and confidence.
The evening brought together supporters from across the military, business, and public sectors in celebration of the transformative opportunities provided through Cadet Force expeditions in the UK and overseas.
We were privileged to welcome Louise Sandher-Jones MP, who joined us in her ministerial capacity to show her support for the Cadet Forces and the work of the Ulysses Trust. Other distinguished guests included General Sir Jim Hockenhull KBE, our ambassador Jordan Wylie MBE, Ulysses Trust Vice Patron The Earl Cadogan DL, Calvin Bailey MBE MP, and many more valued friends and supporters.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make the evening such a success — especially the cadets from the City of London & North East Sector ACF, whose professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication embodied the very best of our youth organisations.
Events such as this play a vital role in helping the Ulysses Trust continue its mission of supporting life-changing expeditions for young people across the Cadet Forces, giving them opportunities to develop skills and experiences that will benefit them for years to come.
We are extremely grateful to City Veterans CIC for their generosity, support, and commitment to the next generation.
