Colonel Mark Siebenaller TD VR FRGS With a distinguished career that spans over four decades in both business and the military, Colonel Siebenaller brings a wealth of experience that will greatly benefit the Trust. Mark’s military career began in 1985 when he joined the Royal Naval Reserve, commissioning as a Seaman Officer in 1986. He served in various seagoing roles. In 1996, he transitioned to the Territorial Army, starting as a Captain and rising to the rank of Deputy Commander 11 SFA Brigade in the rank of Colonel. He concluded his military service in January 2024. In his civilian career, Mark worked extensively in the engineering industry from 1980 to 2022, with a strong focus on sales and holding various Director-level positions. His dual background in business and the military equips him with unique insights and skills that he will bring to his new role at The Ulysses Trust. Alongside his new position, Mark was formerly a Trustee of the Army Rifle Association and The Royal Logistic Corps Association Trust and is currently vice chair of employer engagement at SERFCA. As a Trustee for The Ulysses Trust, Mark will focus particularly on finance, helping to guide the charity in its mission to support cadet and reservist units. Mark is a keen outdoor enthusiast and has undertaken and benefitted from a wide range of Adventurous Training opportunities during his time as a reservist.
