Last night we hosted a special event at the Honorary Artillery Company (HAC) to meet our special guest, and Ulysses Trust ambassador, Ray Mears.
Following introductions from the HAC’s Major General Simon Lalor and our CEO Polly Marsh DL, cadets Lance Corporal Tia Smythe and Cadet Honneki Samman Perrucha from the City of London Academy CCF took to the stage. They spoke warmly to the audience about what being a cadet means to them and the difference it is making to their lives as well as the benefits of Adventurous Training.
The cadets were followed by a fascinating interview with world renowned bushcraft and survival expert Ray Mears who was interviewed by Langley Sharp MBE
After these fantastic presentations and the fascinating interview with Ray, there was an opportunity for our guests to mingle and chat with each other and our speakers.
All in all it was a wonderful event and we would like to thank everyone who attended as well as the Honorary Artillery Company for providing such a wonderful location, refreshments and canapes.
