 | Professor Rod Stables Rod is a consultant cardiologist at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (LHCH), UK. Rod completed a short service commission as an infantry officer before medical school. He then served for 20 years in the reserve forces, involving deployments and training on four continents. |
 | James Wilson James is a partner at City law firm Howard Kennedy LLP. As well as advising on a broad range of company, commercial and corporate finance transactions, James advises a number of charities and non-profit organisations on a pro bono basis. |
 | Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty CBE recently retired from her position as Commandant Air Cadets. Known for her dedication to youth development and outdoor activities such as trekking and kayaking, Dawn has been sought after by numerous organisations for trustee roles. Her decision to join The Ulysses Trust reflects her alignment with the charity’s values, aims, and interests in promoting personal growth through adventurous activities. |
 | Lt Col Victoria Tannahill RAVC VR Victoria’s military career spans the CCF, UOTC, Regular and Reserve service. She has enjoyed the outdoors from a young age; peaking her first Munro aged 12, completing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme during secondary school, and developing herself through adventurous training in multiple guises with the Army. She joined The Ulysses Trust as a Trustee in 2026 alongside her ongoing Reserve career. |
 | Colonel Mark Siebenaller TD VR FRGS Mark’s military career began in 1985 when he joined the Royal Naval Reserve, commissioning as a Seaman Officer in 1986. He served in various seagoing roles. In 1996, he transitioned to the Territorial Army, starting as a Captain and rising to the rank of Colonel with his last appointment as Deputy Commander 11 SFA Brigade. He concluded his military service in January 2024. |
 | Lt Col Dan Tebay BSc (Hons) PGCE MA FHEA Dan started his career in Royal Corp of Signals. After 8 years regular service and 3 years in the reserves, he then did a PGCE and qualified as a sports teacher. He has been a teacher for over 25 years now and holds several outdoor instructor qualifications. |
 | Lieutenant Colonel Ian Orr MBE (Honorary Secretary) Ian works in International Crisis and Risk Management as well as strategic development training. He previously completed a full career in the British Army serving in both the regular and reserve. Mountaineering in Scotland has always been one of his passions. |
 | Major Stephen Wright TD (Honorary Treasurer) A banker by profession, Stephen took early retirement from his management duties in the Birmingham area in 1997 at which time he was appointed as Head of Finance and Human Resources at West Midland Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association. In addition to his duties with The Ulysses Trust Stephen fulfills roles with several charitable trusts as an active trustee. |
